Henry IV of England

Henry Bolingbroke deposed Richard II and took the crown as Henry IV, founding the House of Lancaster. He spent much of his reign putting down rebellions, including that of the Percys and Owain Glyndwr in Wales. His contested claim shadowed the dynasty.
