Rabid antisemitic publisher whose incitement helped prepare the ground for genocide.

Streicher's tabloid Der Sturmer spread crude and violent antisemitic propaganda for two decades. Though sidelined from power during the war, his relentless incitement was judged to have helped enable the Holocaust. He was convicted at Nuremberg for crimes against humanity and hanged in 1946.
