Founder of the Nasjonal Samling party; collaborationist Minister-President under German occupation. His 'Universism' was an idiosyncratic personal creed, not an organized occult order.

Quisling founded Norway's small fascist party and, after the 1940 German invasion, served as puppet head of the collaborationist government. His name entered many languages as a word for traitor. He was tried for treason and executed in 1945.
