Leonid Krasin

Krasin was an engineer who in the party's underground years managed its finances, weapons, and even its printing presses. After the revolution he used his business skills as commissar for foreign trade and as a diplomat in London and Paris. He helped reopen Soviet Russia to Western commerce before his death in 1926.
