Mordechai Vanunu worked as a technician at Israel's Dimona nuclear site. In 1986 he gave The Sunday Times detailed information and photographs indicating Israel had built nuclear weapons. He was lured abroad, abducted by Israeli agents, and imprisoned for 18 years, much of it in solitary confinement.
