- Judaism (Rabbinic)

- Kuhn, Loeb & Co.; U.S. Federal Reserve Board
Paul Warburg emigrated from Hamburg to the United States and became a partner at the New York bank Kuhn, Loeb & Co. He was a leading advocate for central banking reform and helped shape the 1913 law that created the Federal Reserve System, then served on its first board. His central role in the Fed made him a recurring figure in antisemitic conspiracy theories about Jewish control of finance, claims that misrepresent his documented work as a public reformer.
