Astor heir who transplanted the dynasty to Britain and gained a peerage.

Frustrated with American life, he emigrated to England, bought newspapers and country estates including Cliveden and Hever Castle, and was made Viscount Astor. His branch became firmly established in the British aristocracy and politics.
