Benjamin Harrison

1833 – 1901 American 23rd President of the United States

Twenty-third U.S. president and grandson of William Henry Harrison.

Harrison signed the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890, the first federal law against monopolies, and the McKinley Tariff. Six new states entered the Union during his term. He lost reelection to Cleveland in 1892.
