Steven Paul Jobs was born in San Francisco to graduate students Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, and was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. He co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak in 1976, was forced out, and returned in 1997 to lead its comeback. He died of cancer in 2011.
