Marjorie Cameron was an artist and actress who arrived at Jack Parsons's home in 1946, when Parsons identified her as the elemental woman summoned in the Babalon Working. She married Parsons and shared in his Thelemic practice, and after his death she pursued her own occult and artistic path. She became a figure in the Los Angeles avant-garde and appeared in experimental films by Kenneth Anger and Curtis Harrington.
